Margaret Ann Roberts, of West Chester, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Born December 11, 1934 in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late James and Harriet Scott.
Margaret attended Kennett Square Consolidated School. She worked for West Chester School District/ Aramark as a cafeteria manager and Nationwide Formal Wear as a processor of orders. She volunteered at the West Chester Senior Center, West Chester, PA and was a volunteer Girl Scout Leader. She was a dedicated member of Highway Tabernacle of Kennett Square, PA; Temple United Church of Wilmington, DE and First Pentecostal Holy Church of Chester, PA.
Her hobbies included knitting, violin playing, gardening, baking, crossword puzzles, sewing , painting, croquet and traveling.
Surviving to cherish her memories are her children, Robert L. Hilton (Linda) of Pomona, Ca, Elwood F. Hilton Jr., of Downingtown, PA, Elmira Butler and Diana Dow (Martin) both of West Chester and Michael Hilton of Bellflower, CA; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sisters Dorothy Palmer of Florida, Martha Miller of West Chester, PA and Bernice Johnson of Newark, DE and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and one grandson.
